Ben Leech is an artist, architectural historian and historic preservationist based in Philadelphia and Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Also a compulsive sketcher, for more than a decade Ben's been filling sketchbooks with drawings of buildings, street scenes and architectural details that capture my attention and stir my curiosity. Sometimes these sketches are the beginning of more extensive research projects or preservation efforts; other times they are just a good excuse to slow down and focus on something for longer than it takes to snap an Instagram. His small publishing project, Archivolt Press, is his way to engage a wider audience of fellow architectural aficionados and curious urbanophiles.
