After seeing these natural rush fiber trivets peeking out from well-stocked kitchens in our favorite Japanese interior magazines, we couldn't resist the chance to stock them in our own store. The ring shape allows for vessels with rounded bottoms to rest without wobbling (such as certain teapots, ceramic rice cookers, donabe), and adds warm texture on the table when serving a meal. When not in use, hang them on the wall by their little loop.
Not recommended for use with fresh-from-the-burner cast iron. (Don't want to catch anything on fire accidentally!)
