Refreshing, the Jugetsudo Organic Hojicha pleases not through sweetness—entirely absent—but through its slightly rough character. Its most distinctive feature is its "smoky" aspect, even though it is not actually smoked. After tasting, the empty cup retains a gentle fragrance of caramel.

Lower in caffeine than other green teas and gentle on the stomach.

Best steeped at 100°C/212°F for 60 seconds.
