Designed by Yuichi Nara in collaboration with Lemnos, the Thomson Paper Clock combines the fine texture of wood and paper in one sleek timepiece. The clock face is dye-cut from a fine "mermaid" paper (so named for its unique texture, subtly rippled like the sea), and a plywood frame. The distinction in textures of its face, frame, and ash wood hands underlines the contrast of natural materials.
