Back for 2024! Ryo Takagi is a paper cutting artist in the long-standing Japanese kirié style. Each year he debuts new paper cuts, collected in his popular hand-numbered wall calendar, limited this year to 360 copies.

This year's theme is Where The Wind Goes. Fans of Ryo's characters will recognize Yume, a black cat, as she has adventures through various Japanese landscapes before finally meeting up with her longtime friend, Balloon, a Saint Bernard.

About the Artist

Born in 1971, Ryo makes his living as a kirié artist. He currently lives in Tokyo with his wife Tomoko, an English teacher, and their pet bunny Maru.
