Back for 2019! Ryo Takagi is a paper cutting artist in the long-standing Japanese kirié style. Each year he debuts new paper cuts, collected in his popular hand-numbered wall calendar, limited this year to 600 copies.
This year's collection features monthly glimpses of Yume, a black cat, and Balloon, a Saint Bernard, living together through Japan's four seasons. Original paper cuts are shown alongside their full color prints.
Born in 1971, Ryo makes his living as a kirié artist. He currently lives in Tokyo with his with Tomoko, an English teacher, and their pet bunny Nana.
