These handsome chopsticks derive their unique woodgrain from a centuries-old craft called Wakasa. Made in Japan since the Edo period by master craftsmen, the Wakasa method applies up to 50 coats of Japanese lacquer to each choptsick. The result is an intricate, multicolored woodgrain effect.

Because of the handmade nature of this product each pair is unique.
