Over the years Omoi staffers have collected everything from stacks of notebooks to several generations of Fog Linen tea towels. As the weather shifts and the planets continue their celestial dance above, here's what we're buying for ourselves at this turning point of fall.
"My staff pick is the Uni-Ball One pen, 0.38mm. I love a juicy pen, and I love the weight of this pen. It's not too heavy and it's not too light. Also it's just a nice ashy pink.
The book I'm holding is a Stálogy grid editor's notebook. I like it because the pages are nice and thin, and it writes really well with this pen. I can doodle and I can write—it's just a good size for me."

"My number one has to be the Maruman Spiral Note. It's the best notebook I've ever used. It holds everything from story ideas to to-do lists. I've been using it with the Tombow MONO graph pencil. I'm not a pencil person, but this is making me into one. It's fun to twist [the eraser] on and off. And then, the w/U notebook is my new planning...thing? It's fun to customize. It's all recyclable too, even the rings. It has really nice graph paper and to-do list space. So this is gonna be my notebook for goals, story ideas, submission deadlines, all in here. And rough drafts in the Spiral Note. Then I put it all together in the KING JIM Cheers Case. It's my favorite."

"This B6 planner starts in October. Who doesn't love cats in clothes? I like that, aside from being a planner, there's a place to journal. There's a place to put your passwords. There's a map of Osaka if you'd ever need that. There's notecards. I think it's very versatile."

"This is my MD B6 grid notebook. Without showing too much, this is my favorite thing because with the cover, you can add all the stickers. I love grid paper. It's a good size to fit into your pocket if you have one. And you can customize it however you want to. I use this for work. It's full of sticky notes. Yeah. This is my pick."
- Norna (???)
"This is the TAGGED memo pad that we got in, made from cleaning tags. It's this super durable paper that can get wet and still writes well with most pens and markers I have. I like that it's meant to get kinda beat up, and that it has a hole for attaching a carabiner. I have it here on my 'tiny strap' from The Superior Labor's Hang Together system, so I can run around the shop taking notes."
