Our General Shipping Rules & Restrictions

We currently ship from our retail location in Philadelphia, PA to all 50 United States, Canada, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Croatia, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, and Switzerland.

 

  • Omoi, Inc. is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen unless insurance is purchased upon checkout. Please select USPS Priority Mail or FedEx for insurance up to $50 on your shipment.
  • If a package is returned or an address needs to be corrected by the carrier due to an insufficient or incorrect address, Omoi, Inc. reserves the right to charge an address correction fee (up to $10). Furthermore, the customer is responsible for paying for shipping charges again if they would like the package re-shipped. The original shipping charges will not be refunded, so please double-check your address.
  • A signature may be required for delivery for your protection for domestic shipments valued at $150 or more, FedEx, USPS Priority Mail Express and USPS Priority Mail Express International shipments.
  • Please note: We are not responsible for delays caused by mail carriers or foreign customs. All transit times are estimations beginning once your order has shipped, not from the time your order was placed. Please keep in mind which shipping options apply only to business days and do not include weekends or holidays. If you need shipment by a guaranteed delivery date, please contact us directly at 1-215-545-0963 during business hours, or email orders@omoionline.com. We apologize for this inconvenience and will have guaranteed express delivery options available shortly.
  • All shipping fees are non-refundable unless product is determined to be defective or damaged.

 

Free Shipping Conditions

Our Free Shipping applies to orders placed within the continental US only. Orders shipped using our Free Shipping promotion are shipped with economy shipping via USPS. We cannot be responsible for lost or damaged goods. Free Shipping cannot be applied retroactively.

Pick Up In Store Shipping for Locals (Visit Us at Our Philadelphia Location!)

If you live in the Philadelphia metropolitan area, and would like to pick up your items from our shop in Center City, we’re more than happy to accommodate! When you checkout, select the shipping option to Pick Up In Store During Store Hours. You will receive a shipping confirmation to your email address once your order is ready for pick-up. We typically have your order wrapped and ready in the shop same day, but if you need it by a specific rush time, please call ahead to our shop.

International Shipping & Conditions

When placing an order for delivery outside the United States, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Omoi, Inc. may not legally misrepresent the customs value of packages.

 

  • Charges for duties, taxes and the carrier’s collection fee are in addition to your shipping charge and must be borne by you. Some items may require a special handling fee as specified by federal, state or local regulations governing the transport of these items; therefore, the shipment of some products to certain locations may not be possible. All prices are shown in U.S. dollars ($USD).
  • The item price is exclusive of any import duties, taxes and shipping charges. Omoi, Inc. has no control over the duty process and is unable to provide information about possible duties, charges or rates in advance.
  • Omoi, Inc. cannot reimburse the Customer for any portion of the price of goods purchased, the cost of shipping, taxes, customs or any other fee on orders undelivered due to recipient refusal.
  • We reserve the right to contact you for further information, and in the case of large orders, we reserve the right to request a written/faxed/emailed confirmation of your order. To that end, it is important to ensure your contact information is correct at the time of placing the order.
  • Please remember that shipping may take a little longer if you are shipping to a location outside the US.

 

Item Availability

Although Omoi Zakka Shop strives to display the correct availability of our products, we are a small shop and an item may go out-of-stock at the same time as your order. We will contact you via email or phone to provide you with an estimated shipping date. Other items will be shipped as usual and we will ship the backordered item at no cost. Should you choose not to wait, you will be given the option to exchange the backordered item or receive a refund for the retail price of the item.

Processing & Shipping Time

 

  • Orders are shipped on business days only. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States.
  • Orders of in-stock merchandise with standard ground shipping to U.S. locations will be shipped within two business days, if received and authorized before 2:00pm EST.
  • Orders of in-stock merchandise with expedited shipping to U.S. locations will be shipped within the same business day, if received and authorized before 6:00pm EST.
  • Orders with giftwrap options may require an additional business day for processing.
  • Orders containing hazardous materials (example: fragrance) are not eligible for expedited shipping.

Returns

Return Instructions

Email us at orders@omoionline.com or call our Customer Care team at 215-545-0963 specifying that you would like to return the item and stating the reason for the return. Please indicate if a product is defective or damaged in order to receive a prepaid return-shipping label. If your item is eligible for return, we will reply with specific return instructions to your email address on file. When mailing your return shipment, please include a copy of the original order packing slip and ship to our address at 1608 Pine Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103.

Our General Return Rules & Restrictions

 

  • Returns of full-price merchandise must be made within 30 days of purchase.
  • Returns on sale merchandise must be made within 14 days of purchase.
  • Purchases during the holiday season (November 14-December 24) may be returned until January 14 of the following year.
  • Products must be unused, unworn, and in good condition with original hangtags and packaging attached.
  • We do not support returns, re-ships, or re-credits for items shipped internationally.
  • In the case of items damaged during shipment, please contact our Customer Care team at 215-545-0963 within 5 days.
  • Price adjustments will be honored within 7 days of the original purchase date and will be refunded in the original form of payment.

 

Returns to Our Online Store

 

  • If you are returning an item that was shipped to you as a gift with a gift packing slip (encoded prices), you may choose to receive an e-gift card containing your refunded amount. In order to do so, please email us so that we can issue an e-gift card via email.
  • Pack the item securely in the original package (when possible).
  • Enclose the original packing slip with the item.
  • We cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries.
  • You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 30 days of us receiving your returned product.

 

Recieving Credit for Your Return

 

  • You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 30 days of us receiving your returned product. Your refund will include the cost of the item plus any applicable sales tax.
  • Shipping and handling costs are non-refundable, unless the return is a result of a manufacturer error or a shipping error on our part.
  • If you are returning an item that was shipped to you as a gift with a gift packing slip (encoded prices), you may choose to receive an e-gift card containing your refunded amount.

 

Damaged or Defective Items

 

  • In the case of items damaged during shipment, please contact our Customer Care team at 215-545-0963.
  • We will work with you to replace your item as quickly as possible. If we are able to locate a replacement, we will send it to you at no charge, and will ask you to return the damaged/defective item to us using our free return service.

 

International Return Policy

At this time, we unfortunately cannot facilitate returns or exchanges on orders shipped outside the United States.

 

  • We do not support returns, re-ships, or re-credits for items shipped internationally.
  • Orders received to our shop without a return authorization are not eligible for credit.
  • Gift cards and online gift certificates cannot be sold or redeemed internationally at this time.
  • Some beauty items may be considered hazardous materials due to their alcohol content and cannot be shipped internationally.
