In 1911 something remarkable by the name of Kaweco Sport was created. A pocket-sized fountain pen which could be carried everywhere. It only measures 10.5 cm when closed, but it grows to a standard-sized pen when the cap is reattached on top of the barrel.

One of the oldest pen brands in the world, Kaweco was founded in 1883 in Nuremberg, Germany, where it is still based and manufactures pens today. Their designs stem from another era when tradition and craftsmanship were still synonymous and some clocks seemed to go a little slower.
