Candy Apple Comics is a Korean-American, primarily self-taught cartoonist, writer, and artist based in Philadelphia! Their art leans towards autobiographical, but they also love adaptation and re-contextualization of classical source materials. They draw a lot of artistic inspiration from cartoonists like Andrew MacLean and Caroline Cash along with Japanese anime. Greek and Roman mythology, poetry, and literature also feature in some of their work due to my undergraduate background in English Literature, Latin, and Ancient Greek!
