A ceremonial grade matcha from Japanese tea house Jugetsudo. A powdered green tea used in tea ceremonies, Fuji no Haru Matcha derives its name from “springtime at Mt. Fuji”. This special green tea comes from one of the finest tea plantations, the Okabe area in Shizuoka Prefecture at the foot of beautiful Mt. Fuji. With a deep, verdant flavor and vivid green color, this caffeine-rich treat can be served hot or brewed cold.
Each tin contains 50g of matcha powder, perfect for single-cup brewing or baking projects.
How to brew: Boil water to 80 degrees celsius. Add a teaspoon of matcha powder to a matcha bowl. Pour water into a plain cup, then re-pour the cup of water into the matcha bowl. Whisk the matcha with the water using a bamboo matcha whisk, in a zigzag motion. Drink immediately, sipping directly from the bowl.
