To celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Manyo ink, this Sailor Pro Gear Slim special fountain pen is available for a limited time with a combination of new and limited-edition colored Manyo inks.
In accord with the ‘food’ theme of this time’s Manyo new ink, the cap top design also features a food motif.
Chestnut: The body color is a combination of Manyo Ink KURI and NOBIRU combinations, and comes with a 50ml bottle of Manyo Kuri ink.
Kuri, which means chestnut in Japanese, is a popular autumn delicacy, and Nobiru has a garlic scent with a leek-like taste. Chestnut is accented with silver trim.

Founded in 1911, the Sailor Pen Company was born when engineer Kyugoro Sakata received an English fountain pen from a sailor friend. Fascinated by the instrument, Sakata became determined to produce Japan's first fountain pen.
Sailor remains one of the oldest specialty pen manufacturers in the industry, and to this day every Sailor pen is still manufactured in its home port of Hiroshima.
