The front and back covers are letterpress printed, with slight ink bleeding and misalignment giving them a tasteful texture.
This off-white drawing paper has a soft feel and a rough texture with a moderately textured surface. It absorbs well and dries quickly, making it suitable for watercolor painting. The texture is not too deep and the surface is strong, so it is less likely to fray even when using an eraser.
Regular paper (121g/m2) is the same thickness as regular drawing paper and can be easily used for drawing with colored pencils or crayons, or rough sketches with pencil.
