Because we want our website to be easier to use and more accessible to people with disabilities, we are using the UserWay Website Accessibility Widget, which is powered by a dedicated accessibility server. The software allows to improve its compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1).

Enabling the Accessibility Menu

The accessibility menu can be enabled by clicking the accessibility menu icon that appears at the bottom right of the page. After triggering the accessibility menu, please wait a moment for the accessibility menu to load in its entirety.


Admittedly, due to our small staff, we only have the capacity to offer accessibility services via the UserWay widget. The widget should make all pages and content on fully accessible, but some content may not have yet been fully adapted to the strictest accessibility standards. This may be a result of not having found or identified the most appropriate technological solution.

Accessibility at our Old City storefront

There is a very small (barely there) step and slight lip at the bottom of our front door. We do not have a ramp. There are no stairs to climb and the space is spacious for wheelchairs, walkers, and strollers. We often burn scented candles and incense. Masks are required over nose and mouth for both staff and visitors, and we observe sanitizing procedures daily. Because of the pandemic, we have removed our sitting chairs.
