The story for each month depicts the everyday events of "Ojisan,", or uncle/middle aged man, Midori's popular character. Ojisan is shown striking poses with the numbers of the year, or drawn in a four-panel comic style on the monthly block, making the most of the planner's unique features.

A laid-back, relaxed, and sometimes active "old man" roams the pages of this full-color, monthly story-driven book. You'll be soothed by the sight of the old man playfully moving around using numbers and lines. This book conveys the author's enjoyment of drawing it year after year. A to-do list is provided at the bottom of each monthly block page for writing down your tasks for the month.

Includes a "tear-off memo" section, perfect for leaving quick notes or messages while out and about, and a "My Memories" section where you can record events and memorable moments from the year. The grid-ruled memo pages feature a playful flipbook-style illustration of the old man playing the guitar .
