Naoshi

Naoshi is a Los Angeles-based artist from Iwate, Japan who uses colorful sand to create surreal people in fantastical and real world settings, that inspire a more whimsical perspective of life. Known as sunae 砂絵 in Japanese, Naoshi's works have a compelling 3D quality that stands out even when reproduced in print.
