TRAVELER'S DINER Weekend at Omoi

TRAVELER'S DINER Weekend at Omoi

What a fabulous time we had at the TRAVELER'S DINER event!

Reminiscent of our Short Trip Weekend back in October of 2021, the TRAVELER'S DINER event was a four day weekend-long experience held from January 13th to the 16th, 2023. This event kicked off a US Partner Shop tour celebrating the debut and US release of the limited edition diner-themed TRAVELER'S notebook set.

When TRAVELER'S COMPANY announced to the Partner Shops that they would be releasing a diner themed set, we got so excited. We were already planning a winter/New Year's photoshoot at Ray's Cafe, a Chinatown gem for coffee and a diner style meal. Owner Liz's mother has long collected local diner ephemera and memorabilia, and Liz remarked how it was time to showcase some of the collection at the shop. It would look good alongside the locally roasted coffee beans, serving trays, and diner mugs we already keep in stock.

So it already seemed like a match made in heaven, and we were pumped. But there were even more layers of this diner dream! TRC asked us to recommend a local diner and provide music for a TRAVELER'S DINER Spotify playlist. Closer to the DINER announcement, we heard plans for a special neon sign made just for the event, and even collectible letterpress coasters for in-store visitors. It was going to be pretty cooool.

So please enjoy our photos from Friday, the first day of the event. Our many thanks to everyone who was able to attend or who purchased their DINER set online from us. We really had a blast and hope all who came to TRAVELER'S DINER did, too.
